What do I want to accomplish in three weeks?

During 2018 Spring intensive, I am doing a 3-week internship with CoreNetwork Fund, a Venture Capital firm in downtown Toledo, Ohio. Essentially, like any other Venture Capital firms, CoreNetwork Fund invests in early-stage and high-growth companies in exchange for equity.
My main objectives for this independent study are to learn the factors of determining whether an early-stage company is worth investing, to understand the process of opening, working on, and closing a deal, and to familiarize with terms and graphs used in financial reports. To achieve my goals, I have set up a two-part daily plan. On a daily basis, to strengthen my background knowledge about Venture Capital in general terms, I will read from a book called Venture Deals by Brad Feld and Jason Mendelson. To get some hands-on experience in the Venture Capital industry, I will work closely with CoreNetwork Fund and read assigned materials from my sponsor.
Venture Capital has always been an exciting subject that I have wanted to explore, and I can’t wait for this internship to start!
@gboehm Hi Mr. Boehm, thanks for checking out my blog! I am learning new things every day, and I will have a focus to support my goals as I plan my activities with my sponsor. I will update them on a daily blog.
Thank you for writing your goals. Did you learn anything today? How did it support your goals?
